Inspired by Nature

I am a West Coast artist, based in Portland, Oregon. My work is deeply inspired by nature, humanity and the creative journey.

My early formal art education steered me towards finding my process, methodology and purpose. Over the years I have worked with many different artists to strengthen my skills of observation and find my niche.

I work in a variety of media and find myself most at ease with charcoal, pastels and oil paints. I enjoy working from life, especially outdoors. My ongoing fascination is with botanical and humans forms.

I create to find meaning, explore my identity and purpose and to connect with my environment and community.

Mine is a seeker’s journey.
